The Transits Drop a Single and Music Video

A rambunctious new single from The Transits hits tonight and it grew with an amazing crossover of their staple alternative rock and pop punk sound, but it also comes with a haunt because the music video that accompanies the single features plenty of zombie fun.

"Living Dead for A Paycheck" is the kind of track that pretty much says it all right there in the title. Everyone can relate to it, but it takes a little bit of balls to be able to put out a track like this to really represent how we all feel inside.

This is a track that feels anthemic to me because again, it's so relatable to so many millions of people that we wish we could just put it together and really sit as a song the way these guys did.

One of the things I love about this track in particular is the way that they utilize some synth work in there which really adds to the build and the atmosphere of the song.

There's a synth pretty much throughout the entire track and during the course is and post chorus is, it really gives off this kind of atmospheric hook that comes through really cool and almost feels like synthwave at times, but I love that because

It feels like an electronic rock banger, and it pretty much is although it's leaning more to the rock side than the electronic side of course.

In case you're not too familiar with The Transits, this is an excellent song to introduce you to them but then again, most of their songs are because these guys put out records that are just oozing with personality and boast these hooks that don't leave your brain pretty much ever.

This track alone has the sort of chorus that your brain just happens to soak in a certain way, and they still managed to make it so much fun.

The way they bring together that color and edginess, that vivacious and rambunctious approach that blends humor and seriousness is incredible.

I feel like it's hard or it must be hard to be able to take a subject that's so universal and release it in a song that is funny, but completely real at the same time.

I think they do such a good job of walking that line especially with this track.

Really have incredible visuals and lighting, amazing professional style editing and they all managed to also push that presence as a band so you can really soak in all that they have to offer by watching the video versions of a lot of their songs.

Since we have reviewed their stuff an idea of what to expect and this video still blew us away.

Last Halloween they released another track that also came with an extended video which was called "Lost Ones" and that one was amazing as well, but this track and video is more on the sort of funny side of things.

It's humorous because it's got zombies typing on computers, making copies at the Xerox machine, making phone calls, smashing the office around, chasing victims, all that stuff.

They made it colorful but the way it was shot was seriously awesome. I mean the zombies look great; the whole video goes exactly right along with the premise of the song of course because it's all about being a living dead person for a paycheck.

Sitting in an office working for someone else just zoned out, zombied out, and wondering what the hell you're doing there.

It's amazing the things we do for a paycheck isn't it.

This is one of my new favorites from the band and in true Transits style, these guys are releasing it today. Halloween.

These guys always stick to their guns and it's always the right move. The Transits are a band that stand out amongst a sea of heavy rock bands. The reason for that is because they actually go the distance, and they use their music as fuel to create even more.

The single is fun, catchy, spirited, genuine, truthful, and still heavy, edgy, and super memorable.

Most certainly check this out but do it by watching the music video because as per usual, this is one of the best ways to listen to the song for the first time.

Thanks to The Transits for always releasing something super fun on Halloween.
