The Lunar Keys Drop a Progressive Single

A new single release from The Lunar Keys takes a heartfelt approach and breeds a cinematic and robust sense of honesty and soundscape as the progressive track unfolds, giving you plenty of character to latch onto.

"Bleed" is quite an expansive feeling track as it bears so much soul vocally with these almost gospel-like approaches filled with a beautiful warmth and a bit of vibrancy. The music comes through with a vast undertone that lets you float right alongside it all.

This is the kind of track you listen to with headphones. Then you can pick up all the ambiance, layers, and textures that float around through the ether of the song and this is an amazing way to really soak it all in properly.

There are layers of gorgeous guitars that float on top of each other and some of them add some delay effects and reverb effects as well.

All of this really helps the track build such a beautiful atmosphere and once you're in that atmosphere, you don't want to leave.

You can tell this is a truck that came from someplace real because there is indeed some emotional backbone here and that aspect of the song becomes very infectious.

There was definitely a lot of attention to detail during the creation of this track but it never loses the character or the heart that it begins with in the first place which may be the most important aspect of the entire thing.

There's such a wonderful drifting feeling to this track. It's almost dreamlike but not at the same time.

This is a song that you can connect with very quickly. The lyrics are relatable and the music swims around in the air that's around you so you're easily engulfed in the soundscape that the single delivers but, it's the performance vocally that reaches out and grabs you.

There's so much passion and soul in those vocals and listening to the song makes you want to see them perform it live because if this kind of beautiful energy was captured on record so well, then seeing them live must be intense.

I love hearing a track on the record and immediately knowing that seeing this band Live would be amazing.

Something like that doesn't always happen so when it comes along it's quite refreshing.

This is indeed very cinematic to me. I can picture this in the scene of a film or TV show for example. This is also because it has all that emotion just spilling out.

This is an amazing example of a track that sort of blends and bends genres at free will and I love that about it.

Although the song doesn't conform to a certain exact genre, I would call it a progressive rock single but it has a ballad-esque feel to it and that's where a lot of the warmth comes from.

It's the tonality of everything that has such a lush but not over-the-top kind of approach.

It's been a while since I've heard a song that feels this welcoming. If you listen to it it can cause memories of your own to pop into your head at random and that's part of its connectivity as well.

The song makes you think of your situation or your person.

This was absolutely gorgeous. It speaks volumes for the band and how they can create a song that builds that atmosphere so well that you can't and don't want to escape it.

I loved being washed away by the sounds and textures of this track. They did an amazing job of coming through with such wonderful subtleties in terms of their instruments.

Upon listening to the single, I checked out some more of the band's back catalog on Spotify which was an outstanding experience in itself because these guys have some amazing singles that have been released previous to this one and each of those stands on its own two feet.

All of their songs have a little bit of emotional backing and there is a staple feel to their soundscape but you can also hear how they've evolved since 2020 with their first release on Spotify.

Definitely check the single out but also go back through their catalog and listen to their other releases because it's a lot of fun to peel back those layers as well.

Again, listen to these with headphones on because it's absolutely the best way to go and remember where you heard it first.
