SevVven Drop a Huge Alt-Rock Single

A wonderfully hard-hitting single from SevVven hits with quite a punch in the form of a massive alternative rock sound that borders on elements of metal, hardcore, and more. This track showcases the band's incredible energy and unstoppable fire as the song unfolds, and for anyone who loves heavy music, this touches on so many subgenres that you most certainly will not be let down.

"Don't Panic" is a track that has a unique way of building up into an explosive chorus and sort of expansive tonality but does so with a brilliant arrangement that has a way of pulling you into it and taking you for a bit of a ride.

The energy levels rise throughout the track. In the beginning, it's a little bit more subtle and you get a feel for the story behind the track itself and its premise however, as it goes on everything becomes more intensified.

The guitars get bigger and harder, the vocals follow suit, and the drumming in this track is outstanding because it hits with such a fierceness that it gives the track most of its drive, to be honest.

This song has a lot going for it and there are some layers that can be peeled back throughout its course to the point where you may want to listen to it a few times.

This is an explosive track that delivers a killer tone in terms of the guitar work and this sort of gigantic and almost anthemic chorus that feels very radio-friendly to me.

And I think this is important because the song is hard exactly the way it should, but it doesn't go super over the top to the point where it's only for metalheads. This is an alternative rock banger, and a lot of people can get into it because the vocals are melodic although there are screaming parts that bring in the hardcore elements.

I really like that about the track too. It blends these different heavy rock genres but does so in a seamless fashion, so it feels like just a heavy alt-rock single, but you do pick up elements of melodic heavy metal, that grindcore element is in there, sing along with your fists in the air type of sections.

These heavier genres that they blend in here and there are sort of sprinkled in in different parts of the song but all in all, this is a melodic and driving, sonically huge, alternative rock track that comes through impactful and memorable.

I really love those heavier sections though because the production on this track is very well articulated so, the heavier sections are not just black and white. All kinds of cool production tricks let those parts come in with a bigger punch in exactly the way they were meant to.

Loads of vocal harmonies flow throughout this track and add this great layer of texture to everything while the music itself boasts that great edginess.

Those two things go together extremely well here. The melodic and harmonious vocals are performed with a passion and a sort of soul to them while the music has a vast and edgy tone.

It makes for something that has a way of bouncing around in your head for a while after it's already ended.

So, you have this combination of outside-the-box production and arrangements, guitar work, and vocals while you also have a familiar type of undertone that makes it radio-friendly and keeps things super balanced.

It's a massively heavy track that still has catchiness and hooks all over it.

This is a song for anyone who again, has an affinity for heavy rock but especially alternative rock with a bit of depth to it.

Most certainly check this out, don't be afraid to turn it up, and remember where you heard it first.
