Seth Metoyer Drops a Massive Single and Ramps Up for an LP Release

Writer: BuzzSlayersBuzzSlayers

A fresh release from Seth Metoyer delivers a cinematic and vast but edgy and catchy metal single that feels radio-friendly and intense.

"House of Echoes" hits with an inventive riff and expands out into a spacious and almost haunting approach with vocals that remind you of a cross between Tool and 3 Days Grace as they are performed seemingly with a low and high octave throughout the entire track giving the vocal approach this thick and unique feel.

When I say bands like 3 Days Grace, that's what I mean. They do similar things vocally, so it makes me think of that in terms of the technique but when I say Tool, I mean the melodies, vibrato, performance, and emotion behind the singing.

The rhythm is addictive and the whole song has this unique sonic drive to it that does indeed boast a lot of edginess but balances that out with incredible Melody work and the whole thing is completely addictive.

This is a heavy banger, but it's got a lot of layers to it which is something I loved.

It was unique and its approach and most certainly paid attention to Arrangement and composition. This was arranged with a lot of attention to detail but it doesn't lose the personality or the sentiment that the song gives off in the first place.

The dark and again, almost haunting undertone is always there.

There are parts of this track that get incredibly massive and anthemic so it's something that really hit me a certain way.

All in all, this was very intense and somewhat intricately put together. Brilliant technique and performances that combine those techniques and intricacies with heart and I think that's what makes this song so powerful.

Seth produced, mixed and even mastered the album at Broken Curfew Studios out in Monterey California. He even created and designed the cover art himself.

As far as we know, this track is a glimpse of an upcoming album from the artist and if we get more of this kind of songwriting and aesthetic, then I absolutely cannot wait for it.

This track is for anyone who loves heavy-handed, sonically intense, and melodically driven metal.

"House of Echoes" is very newly released so go check it out right now and turn it up.

You should also check out some of his previous releases including a massive record that serves as the score for the film, "The Nightgown".

There are a ton of incredible textures and surprises on this record also. The album also showcases how he's able to really focus on cinematic key points and build intensities.

Start with the single and work your way back. You won't be disappointed.

Remember where you heard this first.
