Rocky Michaels Drops a Song with a Message

Rocky Michaels returns with a brand-new single that really spreads such a warm and welcoming message that a lot of us need to hear right now especially and it's all done with a very unique breed of honesty and riddled with personality that you end up really getting attached to by the end of the song.

"One People" is a brilliant track that comes through in the form of what I would call a cinematic style ballot that feels like it has some powerful emotional drive behind it but stays balanced in terms of its levels of intensity so that you can really soak in what the message is all about.

The song speaks out on the fact that no matter who we are, where we're from, what ethnicity is, or what our beliefs are, we are all one people. We are the same underneath whatever the outside is.

This is such an important time to drop such a heavy-handed message because we live in a time. Where people have forgotten this factor and have in fact created little wars between each other.

Sometimes we need a song like this to reach out and wake us up a little bit and Rocky did an outstanding job of delivering this message with a very subtle but straightforward approach so that you don't get hit hard, but throughout the course of the song you really just again, soak in the intention and the meaning so that by the end of the track you really understand it.

This is a piano ballad and has other instrumentation based on keys involved in the form of cinematic pads that float through the ether of the song but either way, it has an amazing arrangement that ends up building as the song plays on which again actually gets you more attached to it.

I believe that we all come from the same place, and we all go back to that place in the end so for someone like Rocky Michaels to come through with such a powerful message and do it in such a vast and cinematic approach really hit me the right way because nothing about this was really over the top. It wasn't overdone or pushy. It was perfectly approached with a slightly delicate manner but from a place of peace and I think that that's what this is really all about.

Why separate us when we are all the same anyway. Why be at war or fight with each other, disagree or argue when we all come from the same place, or we are all the same underneath.

This was a beautiful song and an amazing sentiment that came through powerfully and impactfully.

The performance vocally was passionate and really had the air of a live performance to the point where it feels like maybe this whole thing was just recorded live on the floor and what you hear is exactly what you get.

And get that aesthetic of a bountiful and warm cinematic ballad across so you can really drink it in, and I feel like it's going to make you think.

I love songs that make you feel and make you think. This song obviously covers both of those.

The track has heart and its performance and its song writing. I feel like it's very important to have artists like Rocky Michaels out there so that we can have messages delivered to us in a form that we can really relate to and understand them without being offended.

This was beautifully done and wonderfully woven and upon listening to it I took a little bit of a deep dive into Rocky's back catalog on Spotify.

There is a ton to soak in from his back catalog from singles to full length albums and everything in between. He definitely has a lot of different sides to show but always seems to give a piece of himself in his music.

Don't just take my word for it though. Have a listen to this single and then definitely check out some of his previous releases because if you like this track then you're going to like a lot of the other stuff that he's produced.

Remember where you heard it first.
