Nick Bellerose Gives us A Warm and Honest EP

The latest EP release from Nick Bellerose gives off such a lush and honest approach that you can tell every word of this single is truthful and came from someplace completely real and as the track unfolds, you get deeper into the stories that come along with such beautifully descriptive lyrics that it's almost like reading chapters of a book where you get the emotions and the inner thoughts but it still leaves a little bit of room for your imagination to picture what everything looks like in your head.

These songs were certainly a chapter in Nick's life.

The All About Love EP starts off being about being enamored by someone and almost falling in love with them to an extent and then knowing that you have to let them go in the end so the whole experience is based on one singular night and that is something that makes the story a little bit more intense and a little bit more real in a sense.

The track is called "That Night".

One of the things I loved about this EP is the way that he can articulate those feelings, and how intense they were, into words and music because I think a lot of us have felt similar situations before but have no clue how to articulate them the way they're done here.

Records like this one are important. We are blown away that someone else had experienced or felt the same thing at some point, but we're all human.

There's something so surreal about the EP as well to the point that it almost feels like something you may have even dreamed of at some point. Especially the first track.

I love that too because it does add a layer of gracefulness to the song.

This is a singer-songwriter, classic folk-style record, and the vocals are performed with two octaves one high and one low. This happens a lot of the time. I think this adds thickness to how he performs those vocals and also adds a unique tonality to the song as a whole.

It is very easy to be caught up in the details of this release from the way the guitars are performed, to have the vocals come through, and most especially, those lyrics paint this picture for you in perfect detail enough for you to get engulfed by everything that's going on along with the music.

All of this sort of makes the EP a bit of an experience and it was a little bit of an escape as well. It pulls you away from whatever you're doing and whatever you are it puts you in this whole other situation in this different place and time.

I consider this like a gift. You don't get it often so when you do have it it's very rejuvenating in a sense and I found the EP to be both moving and beautiful, authentic, and very character driven.

Listening to the record gives you a sense of the romantic side of Nick and how he's able to feel so much in such a short period that it hits him like a ton of bricks.

Again, that's something a lot of us can relate to.

This was cinematic to me because you can easily picture the songs in the scene of a film or are you even a TV show that's got an emotional push, and this is because it's a pretty emotional track but it's in the delivery.

The delivery of it all is really what grabs your attention and once you start paying attention the rest of it keeps you there.

I would suggest listening to this EP with headphones on so you can soak in everything that's going on in the songs and see how it affects you.

See if memories of your own pop into your head.

This is the kind of song that makes those connections happen.

Dive into this release as soon as you can and remember where you heard it first.
