A fresh single release from Montana Millz delivers a refreshing hip-hop and rap soiree that comes at you with a bright and vivacious approach with energy that feels infectious, and it gives off such a thick personality and character that you can't turn away.
"Lemonade" is a single that wastes very little time getting to the point. The way the artist articulates his lyrical phrasing changes up in different sections of the song which I found very catchy and gave me some surprises around the corners.
This track surely showcases the artist's ability to create a catchy song, has a pop undertone, and still keeps true to the roots of hip-hop.
The song features an awesome beat that is driving and hard-hitting enough to push the song along with horn sections and some classic almost vintage feeling undertones that all help build this atmosphere the song gives.
This was a very radio-friendly track and is one you need to listen to a few times to really catch everything that he's rapping about.
A few lines that caught me off guard and I got attached to those but that will be different for everyone.
Different listeners will get attached to different lines in this track and you can hear that he is delivering certain levels of honesty which makes the song a bit authentic as well.
It's that chorus and hook that really grab you. The chorus of this track is addictive and has a way of bouncing around in your head for hours or even days after the song has ended. The only way to satiate that is to go and listen to it again.
You might just call that smart songwriting but I think for Montana Millz, it seems to just come naturally.
Not only are his flows flawless and energetic, but the production of the track also has a great polish to it so the song really bumps but also has this crispness which all adds to that radio-friendly aspect I mentioned earlier.
You have to live a song that delivers this much personality. It's robust and a bit in your face but that's okay.
This single blends color and edginess nearly perfectly so that you have that pop element always there throughout the track but it also has a little swagger to it.
Or even with headphones on. Listening to this track with headphones on really lets you soak in the lyrics properly if you ask me but you might just want to pop in the car and turn it up.
Either way, you're going to get a great experience with this single. I think it's most certainly a track that speaks volumes for the artist and really showcases how he can deliver tracks that are up there with the stuff you're hearing on the radio even right now.
You will not be able to sit still for this one. If you're driving in the car you're going to be shaking your butt and your seat because the song makes you want to move.
The danceable factor with this track is heavy-handed and it's pretty hard.
Definitely check this track out as soon as you can and don't be afraid to turn it up or listen to it a few times in a row because, trust me, you won't pick up on everything the first time alone.
There are all kinds of layers going on here and I know you want to get back to that hooky chorus because it's one of the best parts of the song but, there are a lot of lines in this track that have deeper meaning and to catch all of that stuff you may need to listen to it a few times.
Check this one out and remember where you heard it first.
