Molly D’Ago and Jaxon Wilder Drop a Huge Track

Molly D'Ago just dropped a new single and believe me when I tell you that it comes with a massive level of heavy-handed and deepening tonality in the form of what I would call a cross between alternative rock, metal, and even alt-pop.

There's a lot about "Chained" that hits with a righteous edginess and anthemic backbone but, the production of the track, for me anyway, really hits the mark because it's just so well thought out that it lets those climactic hooks and choruses back such a massive punch.

The track features Jaxon Wilder and the entire soundscape of it really expands on being able to take a genre of music and push the envelope with it.

Again, this is actually meshing several genres together in my opinion. I also feel like that is the future of what certain kinds of music will be and that Molly is a bit ahead of the game in that arena but either way, this track is hugely impactful and it comes with a heavy sort of theatrical underbelly at times that is still has that heavy tonality with amazing guitar work all toned to keep that edginess on the forefront.

I definitely enjoy hearing songs where you can tell a lot of thought went into the production and arrangement. This is one of those songs without question. You can tell that the thought process behind allowing the song to again, expand on what you may consider the norm, must have been fun but not easy.

There are familiarities and the song is certainly radio-friendly and should be on the airwaves of any heavy rock radio station in any major city but, it also thinks outside the box in certain ways as well.

The energy is through the roof the entire time and they allow those builds to have some calm before them. This allows you to feel some of the emotion in those buildups.

The sonic presence of those gigantic choruses is like waves of sound crashing down and the textures of how she performs the hook locally and how heavy and edgy the music is when such a hand to each other that it's unreal.

Some amazing harmonies will clear as well that really add a couple of layers to the song that already comes through very robustly in terms of bringing on those layers of sound.

This track was pretty intense all in all. It was very memorable because you end up still hearing that chorus in your head the next day.

One of the other things I love about this track is the way the guitars are put together. Those guitars are actually layered super well and in an inventive approach. There are sections of the song where it seems like there are three guitars overlapping each other with this melodic overtone and others playing the deep and heavy riff underneath it.

Just smart songwriting.

What's cool about it all is that even though there is all that attention to the details in the production and how things were mixed and layered, it never seems to lose its heart.

This was such an incredible display of bringing together tonalities that have edge but also so much brightness along with melodious and thick layered almost righteous and heavy textures so that it all creates something you just latch on to.

A heavy-handed, melodic, theatrical, heavy metal, and alt-rock soiree that hits without beautifully toned punch and balances emotion, heart, and character all in one shot.

I guess that's the best way I can put it for now.

I've listened to the track three times, and it just never loses that intensity.

There's also some new stuff you pick up on the second and third times around so it's fun to listen to this track a few times in a row.

Trust me, you won't get bored of it anytime soon.

Check this track out because it is a massive one, and you don't want to miss it.

If you like heavy music with a unique approach and balance along with amazing melody in harmony, then this track is a thousand percent for you.

Make sure you remember where you heard this first.
