Kent McDaniel

Born in Kentucky, after getting out of school Kent moved to Chicago. Both locales color his music, as do rock, folk, and jazz. He mixes, blues-tinged country with the other three styles--sometimes in one song. He's played with acts as diverse as Vassar Clement and Albert King. Played everywhere from The Bitter End in NYC to The Last Stop Tavern and other tiny clubs in the rural south. He's currently a DJ in Carbondale, Illinois, and plays out regularly in the area.
