His 2 most recent singles are “Baby can u dig your man?” and “The timelessness of our love”, which were preceded by “A Little less love”, all recorded at his recording studio in Toronto with Canadian musicians. Jeff’s songs are 100% Canadian Can-con-MAPL, are Socan/BMI, and do not have explicit lyrics, and have been released for purchase/streaming at all music platforms, and each have a video on Jeff’s Youtube channel. All his songs also have an instrumental orchestra version available as well. Jeff Vidov first attracted attention by winning the SOCAN Composer’s Award for his first orchestral work “AWAKEN” in 1994 and received his BM as a scholarship student at the prestigious Eastman School of Music and his Masters degree at the Manhattan School of Music and had private lessons with Pulitzer Prize winning composers Christopher Rouse and Joseph Schwantner. Jeff is a well-known pianist/composer/choir conductor/session musician/church organist/musical theatre director/film-tv composer and teacher in Toronto and has had a 27 year career in the city in which he was born. “Baby can u dig your man” takes it’s title (but not it’s lyrics) from the song in Stephen King’s novel “The Stand”. “I found it intriguing that in the novel that the ‘made-up’ song in the book is the last ‘hit single’ before the world is wiped out by a virus. Of all the great songs in history this was the last big ‘hit’ on the charts, according to King’s fictional novel. So I came up with my own lyrics as an ‘ode’to the book and wrote an original upbeat pop/rock song” states Vidov.
