Francesca Tarantino released a single earlier this year that taps into such a deepening and personal sentiment that it manages to hit a certain way, and this stripped-down and very authentic track can make your mind and heart race.
This is a song that's not only performed with such beautiful levels of intensity and soul, but it also bears this pain, and this is part of why it's incredibly relatable to so many people out there no matter what the situation may actually be for whoever is listening.
What I mean is that the song speaks of heartbreak and loss. The want to see someone that you can't anymore for whatever reason.
This sentiment and meaning come through so heavily that you can't help but think of your own personal situation, especially if you can actually relate to the song on that level.
The track is called "Tragedy" and likely for good reason. Listening to the song lets you know how genuine it is and how she's speaking and singing from the heart. The song has a real meaning for Francesca and she's not afraid to put that emotion out there into the song and into her performance.
The track features guitar, (both performed by Francesca herself), and this is such an intense addition to the song because the cello is a bowed instrument that really beckons in an almost haunting and heavy-handed emotional pull just by itself.
This really helps push the song's emotional intensities through the roof along with Francesca's robust and gorgeous vocal approach that really just feels like a cry out and it must have really meant a lot to the artist because of how powerfully the song actually comes through in the end.
Quite the performance by all parts here and I feel like this beautiful and almost live setting works wonders for the song's approach and it just hit hard for me.
Again, this will hit hard for a lot of us. The song is most certainly about loss of a loved one, but we can take that in different ways depending on who we are.
We live our own lives, and music hits us all differently. Music is meant to be interpreted differently by each person but with a message this understandable and relatable, it's bound to hit a lot of us as hard as it did me.
Francesca Tarantino wrote the song with Mike Walker who also produced the track and there is this video that I'm going to embed to this article that really showcases even more of those intensities and those intricacies that really make the song special.
Watching the video is by far the best way to listen to this track for the very first time.
Upon further investigation, we found that this is an actual reimagination of a track released in 2023.
There's also a song called "Truth Cannot Hide" that is amazing, and an absolute must here along with a track called "My Runaway" also released in 2023.
She has some singles out there that really shine and I'm going to be keeping a close eye out for whatever Francisca Tarantino is going to be giving us next which I hope will be something coming this year.
In the meantime, I'm positive the releases that she has right now will keep you at bay, especially if you are unfamiliar with her stuff before this.
She's most certainly worth the wait and once you watch this video you'll understand exactly why.
You won't be able to shake this one off for quite a while.
Those hooks and choruses are not only intense but very memorable and stick with you.
A beautiful single from Francesca Tarantino that not only caught our attention but has left us at the edge of our seats waiting for more.
Check this out and remember where you heard it first.
