A new single release from Eva No takes a flowing approach that blends old and new school electronic music by taking elements of pop, EDM, synth-pop, and even dance-style undertones at times and bringing them all into one place so, it creates an atmosphere that you can get engulfed by very quickly.

"Run with the Angels (Lex Peter Remix)" definitely has a way of grabbing you with unique synth and key textures but also this classic almost vintage 80-style beat and a vast undertone that feels expansive and almost cinematic in a way.

All of this takes shape with these descriptive and powerful vocals which bring you into a completely different world.

This song is a bit of an escape. It can actually pull you away from wherever you are and whatever you're doing and put you in this other place for a bit and this is something that is so connective and so much fun that you end up getting wrapped up in it.

Now, this is a danceable track, but it feels like it's got layers to it. There are a number of outstanding textures that sit on top of each other and help build this atmosphere and aesthetic.

Lyrically, the track is massively detailed and descriptive so you can actually picture some of the things that Eva is singing about as she is doing it, and this creates imagery and a different form of connection to the song as well.

That's one of the most fun aspects of the song. The fact that it sets a mood, and it takes you places but then your mind can help push that further and go off into its own imagery, thought process, or sometimes even memories.

There is something edgy about this track that makes it almost alternative pop in its own way. The combination of textures between the vocals and the synths hits hard and that beat is heavy-handed as well, so it adds a lot of drive to the track.

A lot is going on and it feels good to soak this track in.

I feel like there was a lot of attention to detail during the creation of this song but there was also this specific kind of character or personality attached to it.

This is the kind of thing that you end up holding on to throughout the unfolding of the song.

A lot about this is also sort of poetic but that also brings me back to

There's some emotional backbone involved here and this remix in particular had that added drive and edginess to make everything feel very robust and have the music match the energy of the vocals and the premise of the song itself.

An outstanding track that made me want to dive a little bit deeper into the back catalog of Eva No which was incredibly fun as the artist has a series of outstanding releases on her Spotify account starting from 2019 which, believe it or not, is the original version of "Run with the Angels".

Take a deep dive into this catalog because there's a lot to soak in, and many of her songs show different sides of her personality and artistry.

Eva No is certainly an artist who gives pieces of herself with her music and if you like tracks that make you think or visualize, this is 100% for you.

Take a deep dive into this single and then into her catalog on Spotify as well because it's more than worth your time.

Remember where you heard this first.
