The latest release from Craymo comes through with a sort of vast undertone dance-pop approach but it also blends in classic synthwave which I completely love and adore and has such a thick and lush feeling soundscape that it almost feels cinematic to me.
"My Intuition" has a wonderful way of creating these gorgeous textures by layering synths atop each other and doing so with a driving beat that keeps the rhythm in a forward-moving flow, but it also blends vintage and new sounds so, that you have something that feels almost nostalgic half the time and has an addictive energy the entire way through.
There are the synth pads that sound almost like organs, and those hold through the background of the song a lot of the time, giving it this depth and, of course, building on that cinematic underbelly as well.
The synths and keys on the forefront do the song justice because they give you this sort of hooky and colorful approach but also have an edginess to them, so you get the best of both worlds.
One of the other things I love about this track is its expansive undertone because it does indeed give you that vastness and that openness that feels almost freeing in a sense as it blends in that classic '80s and '90s synth-pop with a house and EDM style.
The vocals do an amazing job of giving the song its charm and charisma. The music itself already has a lot of great energy and color, but the vocals add that classic vibe even more and I think that's part of the aesthetic of a song like this.
This is the kind of track that gets your blood pumping, and you can feel that energy in your body because it's infectious, so being able to create a track that has the edginess, the charisma, and the personality is an amazing thing.
This was intense in different ways but felt very positive and it delivers all of these elements that you want throughout the track.
It's incredibly danceable of course and you can hear all these great influences strewn about throughout the unfolding of this song.
This was definitely the kind of song that you can tell took a lot of attention to detail throughout the creation process, but it never loses that character or this sort of heart that it starts off with and that's really important.
It's got a really excellent growth to it as well which is not over the top by any means but very satiating.
You can also kind of tell that Craymo was having a lot of fun vocally on this because it felt sort of vivacious but again, also not over the top. One of the things that's really important about this track is the sheer fact that between the music and the vocals everything comes through very dynamically balanced.
The music compliments the vocals and vice versa. I think this is a key element to why this track works so well.
This was a song that definitely made me more aware of the artist and since then I took a little bit of a deep dive through some of the previous works released and there's a lot of great material out there.
Craymo definitely has a bit of an expansive catalog and doesn't just stick to one exact genre but instead blends genres together and that's part of how he produces and writes his songs.
I'm certainly going to be keeping a closer eye out for Craymo and what he's releasing from here on out and I suggest you do the same especially if you love real deal classic EDM, synthwave, dance, dance-pop, anything that features very well thought out and energized electronic music.
Take a deep dive into this one and remember where you heard it first.
