A brand-new release from CloZure just dropped and this track hits with a very edgy and impactful alternative rock backbone while blending in this intense vocal approach that really lends a hand to the entire track hitting this peak intensity level during those choruses.
"Criminal Mind" has a wide and steady rhythm and a riff on the guitar that comes through catchy but super heavy at the same time.
The riff is as memorable as choruses are and I think that's something really impressive because it's an element that I've missed in a lot of kinds of rock music for quite a long time.
Coming through with this massive and deep-toned guitar riff that you end up thinking about later on in the day is perfect.
You can tell it's in drop b or drop d or something like that because it's got that depth to it and rumbling heaviness in its underbelly which is amazing because it works so well with those vocals somehow.
The vocals on this track are belting, soulful, and intense but they also have this edginess to them that feels like the whole thing is themed with a gothic undertone.
The vocals are almost theatrical in a way because of how intense and boisterous they are, and I love this because it matches the energy and the intensity of that guitar riff especially.
The drumming is killer throughout the whole thing with kick drums that cut through everything and add that extra push and drive, but it also has a very expansive and melodic feel to it as well as a whole.
This track has a theatrical feel in a way. It's sort of orchestrated and feels bigger and lusher than you expect so because of that it has a bigger impact and although it hits hard, it's got a heart and a soul to it so those layers in that depth are always there throughout the track.
This band absolutely knows how to put out a track that you don't forget. It's got a robust soundscape and a sort of emotional backbone that lets the song really leave its mark and this I feel like is a staple for the band in general.
CloZure puts out releases that have a vast end layered, orchestrated, and intense heavy sound to them and these all lend a hand to a little bit of a cinematic feel or theatrical feel at times because of how intense they actually are.
Brilliant songwriting and always done with hints of coming from someplace real and honest. The songs are authentic and can be anthemic during their choruses along with often blending that heavy alternative rock with elements of metal, and well-thought-out progressions and arrangements.
The band has a slew of singles released previously and those are also very excitable, expansive, and full-bodied heavy tracks.
If you listen to this track and you like it, which I would never understand how you wouldn't, then you should definitely listen to all the rest of their tracks which you can find on their Spotify page and one in particular called 'The Devil Effect" that really hit me hard.
These are massive tracks, and this is a band that you listen to, and you immediately would love to go see them perform this live on a stage right in front of you.
I love hearing a band that gives me that feeling.
There's just a lot of character involved and a lot of attention to detail in their songwriting without losing the emotion.
Check out "Criminal Mind" but also check out the rest of their previously released singles because it's more than worth your time.
We've got the video right here so you can watch it and it's awesome as it shows even more of the band's character and who they are as people, how they love what they're doing, and how they all are in it for the passion.
