BRCDS Release a New Single and Ramp Up for an Album Release

Writer: BuzzSlayersBuzzSlayers

The latest release from BRCDS comes through as a massive and inventive metal soundscape that blends different undertones of the genre from elements of thrash, melodic, death, and grindcore, and rolls all of that together to create this and make it a powerful track that hits hard.

"End of Your Tether" is a brilliantly arranged track, built with a lot of attention to detail. The arrangement is awesome because it takes you on this ride and throughout that ride, you can't wait for certain parts to kick back in.

The guitar riffs are outstanding but it's also the band's time signatures and tightness that drive this track into something that pushes the envelope.

This is a band that has a love for their craft and when I say that I don't just mean playing their instruments or singing, I mean writing songs together that are unique and have waves of intensities that come and go.

You have a few different kinds of screaming on this track that help the song sound fierce in several ways and the drumming is unbelievable the entire time.

The drumming is something that not only drives the song but gives it a breath of life. They're always in the pocket but there are all kinds of crazy fills and elements to the percussion that make the song feel like it's alive and breathing.

This is not a cookie-cutter-style track. Again, this blends different styles of metal and pushes boundaries.

This track was created with no walls built around it and the levels of aggression are high but so are the energy levels from everybody.

Everyone on this track feels like they're thriving because of the other like they're feeding off each other.

I love hearing a band on record and immediately knowing that they're going to be amazing to see in a live performance setting. It doesn't happen all the time but when I listen to this track, I just want to go see it performed live.

I know it would just melt my face.

Now, as the track unfolds you get all kinds of different anthemic elements as well like a really robust and melodically driving section from those vocals and this adds layers and depth to the song as well.

During the melodic sections between the crunching and treasury of the guitars, you have a vast undertone and that's something that gives the song a unique experience and it almost cinematic feel at times.

I definitely loved how this song came through as there were a lot of layers and textures to soak in.

This track is the third single released to be part of an upcoming album and the other two tracks, "Interim" and "The Razor (Bleeds You Dry)", both showcase some of the band's staples mentioned earlier but also have different approaches to certain kinds of their songwriting.

Everyone puts their best foot forward on these tracks. The guitar work is insane, the drumming is relentless, the vocal approaches are eclectic and diverse, and the bass guitar thrives.

After listening to this single, you should listen to the other two and keep an eye out for the upcoming album, hopefully dropping later this year.

If it's got more of the same, I can't wait.

Don't just take my word for it though. Dive into these tracks and turn it nice and Loud because there's no other way to listen to this.

This is some inventive and well-produced metal that packs plenty of surprises around its corners.

Remember where you heard it first.
