420 Mega Release Day! Record Day 2024! Big Bang Black Hole releases 9 brand new albums showcasing the expansive sound stage that is Big Bang Black Hole, with each album gift wrapped in their own sonic spaces. The new "Emerial Plaza" I thru IV albums are about fictional places. Namely instrumental electronic music, this series does showcase midi sequencing, live instrumentation, vocal/lyrical work and is generally driven by analog and digital synthesis. "Johnson Drive" is a collection of B-sides and previously unreleased material. Named after a road in the Watchung Mountains in New Jersey, USA, there is a connection with the history surrounding that road and this record. This is an eclectic collection of music from electronica to acoustic singer/songwriter and always carrying that signature punk rock attitude. "Return of the Phaser" is the most experimental of this release and was assembled in part as a tribute to the Instant Phaser, an audio phaser rack mount processor which was manufactured by Eventide Clockworks in the 1970’s. The infamous Instant Phaser is showcased throughout this record and in fact the particular unit used was one of the very first prototypes! "Red Carpet Elevator" has been in the works for years. Finally finished, the album was mixed solely with the intent of making it for this release. Perhaps a one off and stepping away from the core sound, this record showcases a lighter side and is musically more traditional. “Boston Logic” was started during the height of the pandemic between 2020 and 2022, revisited and completed in 2024, this EP is solid, with a heavy and at times dark sound. From the opening song “This World” and finishing with “Drop the Tab”, it leaves a lasting impressing and thus the journey is meant to be replayed again and again. “Before It’s Gone” is the latest creation from Big Bang Black Hole. This album is captivating from start to end. The songs flow like a record should. A modern classic that is meant to stand the test of time. It’s raw and true. This concept is what future releases will strive to achieve. Notable songs include “Limited Service”, “The Requirements” and “Good Dog Jack”, which is about the loss of mans best friend, but is an internal journey, just trying to cope.
