An Interview With Cintale

A beautifully orchestrated new single from Cintale brings out a lush array of welcoming and warming vocal approaches that wrap themselves around you like a hug from a loved one while a crisp and familiar R&B tonality coats everything in its unique soul.

"Take Me Home" is a relatable and faithful single that feels good to listen to, especially in a time of struggle which is part of what makes this song so impactful at times.

The artist's vibrant vocal delivery is a big part of what makes this song so addicting and full-bodied because he doesn't just use his vocals for the forefront, but also as a way to make the song more atmospheric and it lets you get washed away with the soundscape.

This track hits all the sweet spots and gives you such a sense of love and positivity that it just feels uplifting and a song that can change your mood like this is the kind of song that we need more often.

This is a song about faith and heaven, but it also has this familiar aspect to it that feels like a summer Sunset laying in a field staring at the clouds.

It feels like home and that in itself is part of its impact.

Cintale has a wonderful way of writing that chorus that sticks with you and bounces around in your head for hours after the song has ended.

This single is empowering and at times can make memories of your own pop into your head at free will which is a wonderful thing.

You can also hear a clear love for the craft that the artist holds and he clearly puts everything he has into his songwriting and his recordings because that aspect of the music is clearly evident.

Well the song is over you feel a little bit closer to him as well which is a very unique aspect for a song and something you don't get very often so it's quite refreshing.

The release keeps you afloat with the music and just the general vibes so that you can swim through it and feel good.

What's also great about this track is that if you like it, then there's definitely more from the artist that you will dig as he does have a good size catalog of material released on Spotify since 2019.

This is also an interesting thing to do when first finding an artist like this because you can go back in time through his songs and track the evolution of how he did his thing and at the same time be able to get a feel for how his personality has also evolved.

With the release of such a well-woven single, we wanted to have a sit down with Cintale to find out where this track actually came from and what might be coming up next from the artist.

Here's what happened.

Buzz Slayers: Okay, let's start with "Take Me Home"! This song had a faithful feel with lush and soulful vocals! Where did this track come from?

Take Me Home, came from a producer that I network with and it was actually given to me like a couple years ago. I had written the song and pre-recorded the vocals but just a few months ago. I perfected the vocals and had it mastered. Then I decided it was time to release it.

Buzz Slayers: How did this all start for you as an artist? When did you fall in love with music?

Well, my love for music started at home and in church where I grew up. My mother sings and my grandmother used to sing before her passing in 2021. I used to record little songs with my mother in our bathroom with a cassette recorder. That's where I learned to harmonize, along with singing in our church choir. So, growing up in a musical household and then also being surrounded by my church music shaped me as a vocalist first.

Buzz Slayers: What kind of things really inspire other songs for you?

I pull inspiration from different things. Especially things like life experiences and things I've seen growing from a child to an adult. I may write about my experiences or something I've seen someone close to me has gone through with discretion of course.

Buzz Slayers: This single has some great styles on it! Can you give us some of your biggest influences musically?

I draw inspiration from the 90's, 80's, I've even pulled inspiration from 50's style music which I grew up with around my grandfather. I grew up with groups like Destiny's Child, N'SYNC, Aretha Franklin, The Chordettes, Frankie Lymon just a few and artists like Pink, Bruce Springsteen. And even gospel artists like Yolanda Adams, Tamela Mann, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, The Clark Sisters, Canton Jones and Shirley Cesar.

Buzz Slayers: What are you doing when you're NOT working on music?

When I'm not working on music, I'm cooking which I love to do. Taking care of my health physically, spiritually and mentally. I love being with my church and having my Christian brothers to goof off with, but also have support unlike I've ever had with actual family.

Buzz Slayers: Who's in your headphones right now?

Who I am listening to in my headphones right now is more so directed towards Kpop artists like Itzy, New Jeans, Black Swan, EXO, (G)I-dle, Twice, Aespa and of course Blackpink. If not Tamela Mann or Kierra Sheard-Kelly, it's The Walls Group, their song 'I need You" is one of my faves. Just their harmonies and meaning behind the song really minister to me.

Buzz Slayers: Are you doing any live performances right now?

Right now, I do not have any live performances lined up, but when I do I post it on my social media to let everyone know.

Buzz Slayers: Did you record yourself or hit a big studio for this?

I record all of my music within the comfort of my own home studio. I am able to relax or get as frustrated with myself as I want. Lol! I'm my own critic, I'm always trying to improve my sound, my lyrics and especially vocally.

Buzz Slayers: What can your fans expect from you in the near future?

What my fans can expect is that I will stay true to myself musically and I will always give my best, and even if I feel it's not you'd never know. Lol! There is more music coming. I am working on my 2nd full-length gospel album. I have not revealed anything really about it yet, but stay tuned in the months ahead for surprises. It's some great music, I've been working with some great producers with the sound. So, you can expect some R&B/Pop, Hip-Hop sound with great harmonies.

Buzz Slayers: Before we go, what would you like to say to fans of the music?

I would like to say to my fans, whoever they may be or wherever they may live that I appreciate you all, your love & support is a true blessing. Continue to pray for me and I you, and please stream and share my content. Thank you Buzz Slayers for this great opportunity that you've provided, I am truly grateful and make sure to follow me on all social media platforms. Love You All!
