A Wonderful Release from H3AR and Friends

If you are not quite familiar with the sounds of H3AR, then let us be among the first to introduce you as the producer and DJ has released a single called "Arkenstone" and this 6 Minute banger gives off an expansive and vast undertone while delivering edgy and heavy-handed beats on the forefront which is very reminiscent of classic mid-to-late 90s and early 2000s house music.

The single has an amazing growth factor to it, and as it unfolds, you get pulled deeper into that groove and beat.

I love that expansive and almost dreamlike undertone that it delivers because there's an aesthetic that goes along with that that feels almost cinematic.

Being able to blend that house and dance vibe in with this sort of indie pop and dreamscape factor really works wonders for me. I feel like this has the perfect balance of color, edginess, and drive. Because of that, it has a sort of Personality or character of its own and that is something you actually end up getting attached to as well.

This was the kind of track my younger self would go to a rave and really just dive right into. It's a super danceable track and that's half of its purpose. To get you on the dance floor and get your body moving and it does exactly that.

The single uses vintage-style synths from that era, and for me, it's sprouted bouts of nostalgia as the track really served as a great escape for me.

What's great about a song like this is that it lets your mind drift off with it. It gives you the backbone, the beat, the composition, and the drive but your mind does the rest.

This is the kind of track that sparks imagery, thoughts, memories and more so you feel very connected to the song as it plays through. The singles were released as part of a full album with a slew of remixes and each one takes on an embodiment and aesthetic of its own but also keeps in a lot of the original textures so although they have their own vibes, you still get pieces of that original track.

Each of the remixes is done by some great DJs and producers as well and I feel like it's all an ode to H3AR.

This is most certainly the kind of record that you listen to from beginning to end so that you can really soak in all the different styles, elements, textures, beats, and approaches that it has to deliver.

It's the kind of record that serves as an amazing escape especially if you listen to it from start to finish.

The original track is my favorite one because this one actually has a very particular vibe and feel to it. That expansive underbelly and almost dream-like textural soundscape is something that lets you get engulfed and everything and I definitely dig that.

Having said that, the remixes are also done with heart which is important when it comes to a record like this one.

Each producer and DJ have their own touch and spin that they deliver to the track itself. I feel like everything was done with a lot of attention to detail but never lost that personality or that character the entire time.

When the record's over you have to snap yourself back into reality again because it's managed to pull you away from whatever you're doing and whatever you are and put you in this whole other world for a chunk of time.

That to me, is like a gift in music which you don't get often so, when it comes around it's quite refreshing, and believe me, this album certainly was.

This is also the kind of record that you listen to on a certain volume level.

For me, it was best heard in headphones because that really lets you soak in all the elements that each remix and the original have to offer. The original version along with a few remixes, has a lot of great notes sort of floating through the ether of the track itself, and soaking all that in with headphones is one of the best ways to do it.

Definitely take a deep dive into this record as soon as you can especially if you're a fan of great EDM, electronic, trance, and house.

Remember where you heard it first.
