A New Album Drop from Mitsubio

A brand-new release from Mitsubio delivers a robust and eclectic array of electronic based songs that range from house, EDM, dance pop, and even synthwave plus more and it's all rolled into this one fat record that gives you not only a blend of color and edginess but incredible sets of grooves that you can't help but start moving to.

The round two album most certainly gives off a massive set of influences both old and new and you can hear this throughout the records unfolding because you get elements of old school and new school style house and electronic music throughout this entire thing but there's also elements of vastness in the undertones, edgy beats and synths, and just perfectly layered textures that come together and let this whole album create an atmosphere that's all its own.

The fun thing about this is that once you're in this atmosphere, you don't want to leave.

Not only are these tracks massively danceable but they come across as cinematic at times which is something that's quite refreshing because you're getting this full experience with the record.

This is most certainly the kind of album that you listen to from beginning to end so that you can really soak it all in for what it's worth.

Listening to one or two tracks from this record may give you a slight idea of what you may expect but will not give you anywhere near the full spectrum of what the album has to offer as a whole.

This is important because when you listen to electronica or electronic based music, it lets your mind travel to different places depending on what the music sounds like.

This release in particular has so many great textures and tonalities to it that you are able to take a little bit of a musical journey with it especially if you listen to the whole thing from front to back.

Listening to an album should be an experience and that's exactly what this provides.

It's an awesome listen but it's also a great escape in its own way. Some of the songs have such brilliant arrangements and forward moving flows that it all feels so seamless and natural.

If you listen to this record from beginning to end, by the end of it all, you will have to sort of snap yourself back into reality again and this is something I consider a gift in music.

The record dives into classic dance pop, and some of the synths and keys that are used throughout the record lend a hand to vintage synthwave music as well which is something I grew up with, so I felt myself getting very attached to the record as I listened to it.

It's certainly not every day that you get an electronic record that's got such a beautifully put together range of sounds, textures, tones, but it also provides personality and character as well and sometimes emotion.

This record is kind of like reading a good book or watching a film.

The songs are almost like chapters in the book or scenes in the film and your mind puts those pieces together with your imagination, but the music points the direction.

This album gives you the base and emotion to be able to vividly picture things in your head as it unfolds, and I think that's quite astounding.

Again, I also love some of the more classic influences here as I grew up listening to some synthwave, EDM, and electronic music myself and can completely relate to where some of these sounds are coming from.

Of course, there are plenty of new twists here and I feel like the production throughout the record is perfectly done.

Everything is extremely well balanced dynamically and you can still feel the beat and the groove, so you have no problem getting into it.

Another thing that's important here is the mix.

I don't always talk about things like this but with a record like this one, the mix of it is really imperative because if something is off then the aesthetic doesn't come through the way it's meant to so a good mix is super important in terms of having the record come through the way that the artist wanted it to.

This is a producer that knows his ins and outs in terms of all the aspects of creating electronic music and obviously has been doing it for a while.

Don't take my word for it though, listen to this record. It's well worth your time and again, I urge you to listen to it not only from front to back but with headphones on as well because it's one of the best ways to soak the whole thing in and really feel it.

Remember where you heard it first.
