A Killer Single from Jonnie_Rockit

A single release from Jonnie_Rockit delivers a driving and classic heavy rock and metal tonality that also keeps to this pop undertone so that you have something that packs a punch but also comes through really addicting and you will very quickly find yourself chanting along with the chorus or wanting to jump around the room because of the songs incredible and electric energy alone.

"Burn" has a great sort of dark and gothic edginess and that is really what gives it so much character.

Throughout the track, you have this straightforward driving drum section that just pushes straight through and gives the track a lot of its forward-moving flow and energy along with this guitar tone that just has a deepening element to it but also comes through sharp at the same time so you have a deep low end and an intense high-end tonally and this is something that creates a very spacious and hard-hitting soundscape.

This is a track that you can hear on a radio station. It's got that kind of fun dance ability to it, but it also keeps to that edginess so to me, it blends a little bit of color, a lot of character, vibrancy and vivacious approach that borderlines rambunctious on purpose.

All of these things in combination make for a very unique track but it's catchy and I think that's the point.

This is the type of track that sticks in your head for hours or even days after the song has ended and the only way to satiate that is to go and listen to it again.

For me, this blends artists like Rob Zombie and brings in elements of classic metal to create that drive but also some great guitar work and comes through with hooks.

The vocals are super energetic and only help push that energy through the roof but there is something about the song that feels a little bit cinematic at the same time somehow.

The drumming is certainly a key element in how the song comes through so explosively but also so steadily paced. The drumming is perfectly in the pocket but also gives the song the feeling of being alive and breathing in its own way.

I can't express enough how endlessly catchy this track was but also how heavy it came through at the same time. Upon listening to this track, I came across another one released in 2021 called "You, God, The Devil and The Dead" and this is a perfect example of what I mean by blending that classic metal element.

This release feels like something Motley Crue would have dropped, and I love that feeling too because they really keep to that same energy which is a very important aspect of driving metal in any format.

I really loved both of these songs to the point where I've listened to them a handful of times each and for someone that grew up with Classics like Motley Crue or Rob Zombie for example, these releases felt right at home for me.

Everything was extremely well performed and there were points where it felt like the whole thing was done by a full band feeding off of each other and a live setting.

I feel like it's very hard to capture that kind of energy on record, but Jonnie_Rockit certainly pulled it off without a hitch.

This stuff is like party metal music, and it brings with it a really good time, so it quickly becomes addicting, and I feel like that has a lot to do with the character and personality that it exudes as well.

I will check both of these songs out to be honest. They're both a little bit different from each other and showcase different sides of how the song writing approaches come together but they each have that staple feel that is quickly becoming part of the Jonnie_Rockit sound.

Take a listen to these songs and don't forget to turn it up because it just sounds better that way.

Remember where you heard it first.
