A Beautiful Live Release Kele Fleming

A wonderfully woven and beautifully performed single from Kele Fleming delivers outstandingly detailed lyrics to the point where you can paint vivid pictures in your head at certain points of the song and a soundscape that feels emotionally driven with a sort of cinematic backbone and a vast undertone.

"Where the Rivers Meet (Live)" is not only beautifully constructed but performed with this sort of soul and heart that shines through and really gives you the intuition that it comes from some place completely real which makes everything about it so much more authentic.

Throughout the song you get tones and influences of Americana, classic rock, really happens here is it builds an atmosphere that you end up getting engulfed by and eventually washed away with and that to me is a beautiful thing.

It's very rare that you hear a song with so many wonderful textural elements that balance each other out or even complement each other throughout the song.

You have organs, guitars, all this beautiful vocal work that's done throughout the song and it's just performed with this beautiful emotion and the undertone of a sort of traditional folk element that grasps at you.

The wonder about this song is that it's performed live and that puts you right in the moment throughout the whole thing and it actually does feel like you're sitting right there almost watching it because when you listen to it you sort of watch it in your head and I think that's so connective that it pushes the envelope just a little bit more.

Kele Fleming it is a superb songwriter and was able to put this together with such an expansive tonality and feel that the song sort of swims around in the air that surrounds you and also serves as a sort of escape in a strange way because the song pulls you away from your surroundings and puts you in a whole different place and so when it's over you have to almost snap yourself back into your own reality again.

In that sense, it's almost like reading a good book or watching a good film. I love music that pulls you away and sort of sets you free from the confines of who you are and what you're doing. I think that good music to an extent can do that if it's performed right and it certainly is here.

The track is performed by all parts in a graceful manner, and you can tell that everyone involved has their heart in it and has a pure love for the craft of performing songs like this.

This came through warm, a little bit Sullen because of the progression and the vocal approach at times, and very honest as well. This song tells a story and again, it can be quite descriptive at times.

The whole thing was incredibly beautifully done and upon listening to it I took a little bit of a deep dive into the artist's back catalog which is incredibly extensive.

Beginning to listen to her releases from 2004 and going all the way through to current ones gives you such a sense of her evolution not only as an artist but as a human. When I find an artist, I genuinely enjoy, doing this is incredibly fun and it certainly was here.

On top of all that, there is a ton to go through. You can spend your entire day listening to this music and they all show little bits of different sides of Kele.

We are talking about multiple full album releases, EPs, and singles so again, there's a lot to listen to and if you're not doing much else or if you're just working, listening to this catalog is an amazing experience and it has been for me so far.

I do suggest you start with this single and maybe go backwards from there.

Dive into the stuff because it's well worth your time and remember where you heard it first.
